Our Care Team

All Regional Cancer Center medical staff members are board certified in their specialties. This rigorous—and voluntary—testing program ensures that physicians stay absolutely current in their fields of practice. Similarly, nursing staff members are certified in oncology and follow guidelines established by the Oncology Nursing Society. Not only do Regional Cancer Center staff members practice evidence-based medicine, but they cooperate with other institutions to provide patients with treatments (including experimental drug treatments and protocols) that are not readily available in other parts of the State or nation.

Affiliations with the National Cancer Institute, the University of Illinois at Chicago, Barnes Hospital and Hoosier Cancer Research Network, Inc. enable medical staff members to consult with academic researchers and subspecialists and to quickly apply their learning.

The Sarah Bush Lincoln Regional Cancer Center provides convenient, comfortable and efficient service to all of its patients. Technology and professional service, education and support, caring and hope bring it home.
