Calling all Knitters/Crocheters

Sarah’s BFFs (Breast Friends Forever) is a group affiliated with the Knitted Knockers not-for-profit organization. Knitted Knockers supplies free knitted/crocheted soft, light weight prosthesis to women who have had a mastectomy or lumpectomy. Sarah’s BFFs do the same with the help of Sarah Bush Lincoln’s Volunteer Services.

How can I help?

If you can knit or crochet, we’d love for you to join us and make a few sets of knitted knockers to help support local women who have had a mastectomy. Additionally, we are hoping to identify women who might be in need of one of our prosthesis.
